Senior Advisor

Michelle Harika, PharmD, is a principal at Blackstone and Chief Clinical Officer for Equity Healthcare, where she is responsible for oversight and performance of a customized clinical model operated by multiple vendors. Dr. Harika also leads improvement initiatives designed to improve health, generate savings, and increase value to Blackstone’s portfolio companies. Before coming to Blackstone, Dr. Harika practiced pharmacy with a specialty in diabetes management, followed by 10 years with Anthem, where she was responsible for clinical program performance and improvement strategies. Dr. Harika serves on the advisory boards for HealthTrust’s PBM coalition and is a senior advisor for Tuft’s NewDIGs Initiative. She is an active participant in the Global Chief Medical & Health Officer Network Community and past president of the Central Virginia Association of Diabetes Educators. In addition to serving on the board of the Richmond Pharmacists Association, Dr. Harika volunteers as a member of the Virginia Medical Reserves Corp. Dr. Harika received her doctorate from the Medical College of Virginia School of Pharmacy.
